This week while listening to a young boy read, I stopped him briefly to see if he was understanding what he read...We paused at the word "alley." He wasn't sure of the definition, but the boy next to him was, he said "It's kinda like a trailer park!"
hmmm....
Second, the entire group was attempting to define the word "press," here's what they came up with:
