Conversation I had today at work...it shocked me, maybe it won't shock you as much.
Me: Hi there, how are you doing today?
3 black teenagers (they didn't all talk at once): Yo chica, we tight. How you be doin? (I'm not in any way exaggerating or being stereotypical, they really said that)
Me: What can I do for you today?
Them: Just deposit that.
Me: So what are you guys out doing today?
Them: We abouts to go smoke dope. You cool with that right?
Me: *ummmmmm* .....uh oh.....please be careful. Have a nice day!

- I'm a firm believer in God's grace - it has brought me to where I am today. I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Teaching at Seattle Pacific University, while working as the Education Coordinator for Trinity United Methodist church.
